If you are a single track junkie, this is the ride for you. The long route, although only 35km, consists of about 80% single track with some jeep track linking sections of the single track. No open, flat dirt roads just single track and more single track. For the first time ever riders will have a once-off opportunity to ride the trails in the Tygerberg Nature Reserve. However, this will not be an easy ride with lots of climbing and technical riding awaiting all riders. The short route does not go through the nature reserve, but include most of the single track in the Majic Forest and some jeep track on adjacent farms. Due to the nature of the terrain, the short route will require climbing and technical skills.
