MTB Festival feedback

Unfortunately I did not take part in the 3 or 2 day event. I did however do the 55km race on Saturday and had GREAT fun.
The course was excellent and a great way to get out of winter.
There was just the right amount of sand and mud with very little uphills on a mostly flat and fast ride through the vineyards in Wellington.
The views were great and made me very happy to live in the Western Cape, rain or not.
The organisation at the start, through-out the ride and at the finish is the type of stuff we’ve come to expect from Dirtopia.
Various vendors sold everything from fresh fruit cocktails to sosaties and roosterkoek, schwarmas and cheese and salami platters. With one of those platters in hand and an ice cold bottle on Nelson’s Creek Rose, I celebrated my first summer MTB event on the beautiful lawns outside the wine tasting room.
Come on summer, gimme more of the same….
